Downstairs the living area is open-plan, which makes it a great space for entertaining. There are two sofas for you to unwind on, a wooden dining table which seats 6 for everyone to gather round and the kitchen boasts an electric Aga and butler sink to complete the full cottagey feel. (Plus there are the usual appliances; microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine.) Also on the ground floor is a separate utility room which has a washing machine, sink and a wet room with W/C.

 

Upstairs the first and second bedrooms have great views down the creek, and can either be set up as two single beds or together as super king. The third bedroom has a king size bed. The bathroom is equipped with a heated towel rail and is the perfect space for a long soak in the tub. 

 

Outside you'll find an enclosed garden to the front of the property where you can sit and watch the world go by, and to the rear is a more secluded terraced garden with creek views. You can access the back garden from the first floor of the property and up a few steps. On the terrace is a bespoke summer house, the ‘Captain’s cabin’, ideal for a little peace and quiet, a good book, a glass of wine and... little cheeky snooze maybe?

 

 

A couple of things…

 

Dogs are every welcome at The Cottage. The charge is £25 per dog, per stay and we ask that you bring no more than two dogs.

 

We’re also able to provide a high chair and travel cot for you if you require them – please note that you will need to bring your own bedding for this.

 

Between 22nd May - 2nd Oct check in / out days are on a Saturday only as we can only take bookings for 'full' weeks in that busy period.
