The Easter rush at Port Navas

It's all go now the rain has stopped and the sun is just about poking its head through the clouds, here in Cornwall.

Main thing with me is to get the boat looking ship shape, prior to it being craned back into the water at Gweek boatyard, ready for the Easter rush at Port Navas.. i.e there may be two men and their dogs walking along the quay!

Then there's the moorings to get ready, and the dinghy to launch and we're all set for the season.

This year Tom, at Port Navas Yacht Club, has moved her mooring further up the creek, nearer Navas Nook, so you might be able to see her from the front door. The good news is that she'll be that much closer to the club house, which will much handier to grabbing a pint after a sail.

Just need to finish the antifoul paint, service the engine, get the sails put back on, check the batteries, top up the diesel tank, clean the inside, varnish the oar, get the cockpit hatches re-installed etc etc etc... simples :)
